Sen. Rand Paul criticized Mitt Romney as too magnanimous for a Republican Party in 2016.
Romney, a 2012 GOP standard-bearer whom Paul endorsed, has signaled a remarkable seductiveness in creation a third bid for a White House.
But Paul, a expected 2016 rival, pronounced in a Fox News Radio interview
“If (Romney) runs to a right of Jeb Bush, he’ll still be to a left of a rest of a party, so it might be a formidable mark to occupy,†Paul told John Gibson in Monday’s interview.
“Look, we like Governor Romney, we like him personally, we consider he is a good person, we consider he was a good businessman,†Paul said. “But we know that’s yesterday’s news.â€
Paul went on to contend that he doesn’t consider there’s a third time for Romney. “I consider he did a lot of things right, though in a finish we got to have a bigger constituency, we got to get new people, we got to attract new people to win and we consider it’s time that substantially a celebration is going to be looking for something uninformed and new.â€
Paul reiterated that he will not confirm either to run for boss until “sometime this spring.â€
