Robert Reich says it would be good for Hillary Rodham Clinton to face Elizabeth Warren in a Democratic primary for president.
The former Labor secretary in Bill Clinton’s administration pronounced Friday on Facebook that it’s too early to write off Clinton, given a debate over her use of a private e-mail comment as secretary of State to control supervision business.
“But it would be good for a Democrats and a nation and good for her … to have a tough primary challenger,†Reich said. “I wish that challenger would be Elizabeth Warren.â€
Reich, an economist who teaches during a University of California, Berkeley, pronounced a primary plea would make Clinton “an even stronger candidate.†He remarkable a contingency of Clinton “imploding†now are low, citing her knowledge as a supporter who weathered controversies in her possess U.S. Senate competition in New York and during both of her husband’s presidential bids.
