Bush: we misspoke on appropriation women’s health issues

Jeb Bush says he goofed Tuesday when he suggested vital cuts in women’s health programs, another gaffe that Democrats fast pounced on.

“With regards to women’s health appropriation broadly, we misspoke, as there are large village health centers, farming clinics, and other women’s health organizations that need to be entirely funded,” Bush pronounced in a created matter following his comment.

Earlier, in arguing that a sovereign supervision should defund Planned Parenthood over a termination issue, Bush said “I’m not certain we need half a billion dollars for women’s health issues.”

Within minutes, Bush’s critique brought attacks from Democrats, including a twitter from Hillary Clinton: “You are absolutely, unquestionably wrong.”

In his walk-back statement, Bush pronounced he was referring “to a hard-to-fathom $500 million in sovereign appropriation that goes to Planned Parenthood — an classification that was callously participating in a inconceivable use of offered fetal organs. Democrats and Republicans determine we positively contingency defund them and route those supports to other women’s health organizations.”

Democrats weren’t assured by Bush’s mea culpa. 

This isn’t a initial off-the-cuff matter that has landed Bush in trouble.

In new weeks, he has pronounced Americans needs to work some-more hours and that he would “phase out” Medicare. In a initial case, Bush pronounced he was referring to a need for some-more full-time jobs; in a second, he pronounced he was deliberating a need to pierce to a some-more efficient, better-financed Medicare system.

Bush and aides contend their critics are operative to take his statements out of context.

After Tuesday’s flap, Bush responded to Clinton’s critique with a twitter of his possess about Planned Parenthood: “What’s absolutely, unquestionably wrong is giving taxpayer $ to an org whose practices uncover no courtesy for lives of unborn.”
