‘Orange Is The New Black’ Star Uzo Aduba Running In Boston Marathon To Raise Money For Cancer Research

LOS ANGELES (AP) — There’s zero crazy about Uzo Aduba’s latest endeavor. The singer who plays Crazy Eyes on “Orange is a New Black” is scheming to run a Boston Marathon to lift income for cancer research.

The Apr 20 competition will be Aduba’s second marathon. Her first, also to support cancer research, was in New York dual years ago.

“When we ran New York, there were 4 people in my life — one had passed, and 3 were battling cancer,” Aduba said. “Now, today, there’s usually one still fighting.”
