‘Birdman’ And ‘Boyhood’ Were The Top Winners At The Critics’ Choice Awards

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Fresh off their Oscar nominations, “Birdman” and “Boyhood” combined to their awards-season transport with mixed wins during a Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

The Broadcast Film Critics Associated presented “Birdman” with a heading 7 prizes Thursday, though a tip honor, best picture, went to Richard Linklater’s coming-of-age story, “Boyhood.”

Linklater was also named best director, and stars Patricia Arquette and Ellar Coltrane won behaving awards.

“Birdman” was famous for strange screenplay, cinematography, editing, behaving ensemble, score, and dual trophies for star Michael Keaton.

“The Grand Budapest Hotel” claimed 3 awards, including best comedy. Overlooked by a Oscars, “The Lego Movie” won best charcterised underline and “Life Itself” won best documentary.
