50 Cent recently had some fun at the expense of Diddy on social media, but he has since deleted the trash-talking posts, and he explained why during a HuffPost Live interview on Tuesday.
Diddy was arrested Mondaythe New York Daily News reported
During a conversation with HuffPost Live’s Caitlyn Becker about his TV series, “Power,”“Southpaw,”
“When it’s happening and it’s like, ‘What? What happened?’, I’m getting it like everyone else is getting it and just making fun of the situation,” 50 said. “But when it gets to him actually being charged with something, you pump the brakes a little bit and see what happens with his actual case.”
Despite the social media mockery, 50 added that as a parent, he understands Diddy wanting to protect his son against what he perceived as unfair treatment.
“It’s not the first time a parent has gotten into an argument with a coach, and the coach particularly involved in this situation is someone that we can call, like, an asshole,” the rapper said.
