Canada’s ride apportion on Tuesday urged a country’s largest conduit to solve problems with a new reservation system, that have sparked an escape of complaints on amicable media.
Transport Minister Marc Garneau pronounced a regulator spoke with Air Canada about complaints of use delays due to changes with a reservation complement forward of a bustling Christmas transport season.
“[Air Canada]Â are really wakeful we are removing a lot of calls about this,” Garneau told reporters in Ottawa. “I wish Air Canada can solve a problem.”

Montreal-based Air Canada pronounced in a matter that it is undergoing “temporary issues” after replacing a aging engagement system. The conduit pronounced there have been some cases of business encountering “technical issues and longer wait times” as a carrier’s agents adjust to a new reservation system.
“Call volumes and reason times are temporarily above normal and we have been operative to residence this,” it said.
The conduit combined that “the series of business influenced is comparatively tiny in terms of Air Canada’s regular, altogether activity and a new complement is functioning mostly as expected.”
“Since Nov. 19 we have carried approximately 2.5 million customers, standard for this time of year,” Air Canada said.

Garneau pronounced there was zero a supervision could do to repair a situation, and pronounced it was his bargain that in certain cases people had filed complaints with Transport Canada.
