Citing “a publishing error,” the publisher of a book version of “2000 Mules” — a documentary film by the conservative commentator Dinesh D’Souza that used dubious evidence and logical leaps to claim widespread ballot box fraud — said the book would be delayed until the fall.
The book was originally scheduled to be released on Aug. 30 by Regnery Publishing, a division of Salem Media Group, which produced the documentary and calls itself “America’s leading media company serving the nation’s Christian and conservative communities.” Regnery’s authors include conservative figures such as Ann Coulter, Senator Ted Cruz, Dennis Prager, Sebastian Gorka and Senator Josh Hawley, whose book “The Tyranny of Big Tech” was published by Regnery after being dropped by Simon Schuster.
Regnery said on Twitter this week that the publication date was postponed to Oct. 25 “due to a publishing error.” Thomas Spence, Regnery’s president and publisher, wrote in an email that “the error does not affect the argument of the book.”
