Profit during Tim Hortons and Burger King primogenitor association tripled final year

The owners of Tim Hortons and Burger King has served adult a large burst in profit.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. says a net income for a 12 months finished Dec. 31 was $345.6 million US, or $1.45 per share, including $118.4 million or 50 cents per share in a fourth quarter.

The full-year profit, reported in U.S. currency, was adult 233 per cent from $103.9 million or 50 cents per share in 2015 and fourth-quarter net income was adult 66.7 per cent from $51.7 million or 25 cents per share.

RBI’s says a full-year income was adult 2.3 per cent, while income in a fourth entertain was adult 5.2 per cent year-over-year.

Total income for 2016 was $4.15 billion US, including $1.11 billion in a fourth quarter. Revenue in 2015 was $4.05 billion, including $1.06 billion in that year’s fourth quarter.

Tim Hortons accounted for $3.00 billion of RBI’s sum annual income while Burger King contributed $1.14 billion for a year.
