Cineplex laying off fewer than 100 workers as partial of cost slicing plan

Cineplex Inc. is laying off “a series of” full-time workers.

The Toronto-based company’s orator Sarah Van Lange is refusing to contend accurately how many jobs are being cut, though says a layoffs will impact fewer than 100 employees.

Lange says a cuts are partial of a “small restructuring” function during a party giant.

She says a changes were stirred by a need to discharge transcribe roles following several business acquisitions and a devise to hurl out a diversification strategy.

The layoffs come as a association aims to revoke the losses by about $25 million annually.
