UEFA has perceived declarations of seductiveness from 6 member associations to horde UEFA bar foe finals in 2020.
The behest procession for a preference of a venues to horde a finals of a UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2020, was launched on 22 Sep 2017, with a 31 Oct deadline set for associations to demonstrate their interest.
UEFA Champions League:
Portugal: Lisbon, Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica
Turkey: Istanbul, Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadı
UEFA Europa League:
Poland: Gdańsk, Arena Gdańsk
Portugal: Porto, Estádio do Dragão
UEFA Women’s Champions League:
Austria: Vienna, Austria Arena
Belgium: Liège, Stade Maurice Dufrasne
Russia: Moscow, Stadion Dinamo
The declarations of seductiveness are not contracting and a final proposals will have to be delivered with a bid dossiers by 1 Mar 2018. The UEFA Executive Committee will name a successful horde associations in Jun 2018.
Each behest organisation will usually be entitled to a limit of one bid per final. If behest for a UEFA Champions League Final, a organisation can bid for this final usually or for a package that also includes a UEFA Women’s Champions League Final.
Associations hosting matches of a 2020 UEFA European Football Championship final contest are not authorised to bid for a UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League finals, though are authorised to bid for a UEFA Women’s Champions League final.
