The Moto X4 is being sold by Motorola, Best Buy, BH, Fry’s, Jet, Newegg, Republic Wireless, and Ting. Amazon, too, will sell the phone but with a twist. The online retailer has a Prime Exclusive model. While everyone else has the Moto X4 priced at $399, Amazon’s asking for $329 with free two-day shipping if you’re a Prime member. The only catch is that you’ll need to withstand lock screen advertisements and Amazon’s software being pre-installed.
Last month Google introduced the Android One version of the Moto X4, which is being offered exclusively to Project Fi customers. That version comes with stock Android and its software updates are managed by Google. In terms of design and specifications, both versions are the same. The difference is in software.
All partners will release the Moto X4 on Thursday, October 26.
