Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has announced that it will take the wraps off the iPhone-like Redmi Note 5A on August 21.
The handset is expected to ship with a 5.5-inch LCD display, a Snapdragon 425 CPU, 2/3GB of RAM, a 16MP rear- and a 13MP front-facing shooter, and a 3,000mAh battery.
For a smartphone that’s tipped to retail for around $150 when it hits the shelves in the United States, that may seem like an awful lot of bang for your buck—but it isn’t.
The Moto G6, which carries a smaller price tag of $129, sports a clearer 5.5-inch Full HD panel, a more powerful Snapdragon 617 processor and the same 3,000mAh cell.
Based on raw specs, we’d recommend opting for Motorola’s offering.
