Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles X both featured excellent soundtracks that reverberate in the annals of JRPG lore. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 has a lot to live up to in that regard when the game launches for the Switch this holiday season.
According to the game’s composer, Yasunori Mitsuda, the soundtrack production wrapped up entirely yesterday, and the results are absolutely massive. He made the quote on his official Twitter page.

As translated by Siliconera,
We completed the music production of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 today without any problems. Thanks to the help from numerous musicians and staff, we were able to give it our all until the very end. Thank you very much.
The soundtrack reportedly takes up 1TB before compressing the Pro Tools down into the game. Mitsuda reports that this is twice the size of any project he has ever worked on. This accounts for 20,000 sheets worth of music and contributions from over 300 musicians. Mitsuda doubts he’ll ever work on such a large project ever again.
