Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds reveals co-star Zazie Beetz as Domino

The other character we’ll see joining the cast of Deadpool 2 is Cable, played by Josh Brolin. In the comics, Domino is a member of a mercenary group called the Wild Pack or, later, the Six Pack, alongside Cable.

Her power is a bit of a tough one to describe, and I’ll be interested to see how they deliver it on screen. Domino’s mutant power is the ability to manipulate probability. That’s right, her power is luck. Literally. If it’d be really lucky for an enemy’s weapon to jam up, or for a screw to pop out of a catwalk at just the right moment, her power unconsciously makes that happen. It’s a neat idea, and I’m eager to see how it plays out on-screen. The same goes for Cable, a character who is considered to have telepathic and telekinetic powers on a level comparable to that of Professor Xavier and Jean Grey.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters on June 1, 2018.
