KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently predicted that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with a dual-camera that’s equipped with a two-times optical zoom, but he’s now altered his prediction.
According to Kuo, Samsung’s successor to the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 will sport a 12MP telephoto lens, alongside a 13MP wide-angle lens, which actually has a three-times optical zoom.
There isn’t any evidence to support Kuo’s claim, so we’ll have to take it with a grain of salt until the firm announces the handset at the event it’s holding in New York on Wednesday, August 23.
Recent leaks and rumors point towards the Galaxy Note 8 sporting a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and at least a 3,300mAh non-removable battery.
The device should also be available in three colors: Midnight Black, Orchid Grey and a new Deep Blue hue (no, not Coral Blue), which hasn’t been assigned a vanity name yet.
