WASHINGTON — President Trump isn’t the only politician spending donors’ money at Trump businesses, it turns out.
More than $216,000 has flowed to an array of Trump properties from other political committees since the start of last year, according to a USA TODAY tally of campaign reports. Not surprisingly, the Republican National Committee leads the pack — spending more than $149,000, much of it at the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

This is all on top of the more than $513,000 that Trump’s campaign committee, Donald J. Trump for President, has reported spending with Trump companies this year alone.
The president has turned over management of his real-estate and licensing empire to his adult sons and a veteran employee, but he still retains ownership of his companies.
