Snake. The thing I played on my first Nokia phone when I probably should have been doing homework was Snake.
It’s back. Snake is on the freshly announced Nokia 3310.
Well, sort of. It’s not the same Snake made of black lines and hard to discern apples. It’s new, it’s from Gameloft and, as The Verge describes in the video below, it’s sort of a Snake remix. The clip includes plenty of gameplay, but the player seems rather bored by the experience.
If this new Snake isn’t doing it for you, hit your app marketplace. There are tons and tons of classically designed Snake games, and I assume at least one hits close to home.
The beauty of the new Nokia 3310 is its retro callback, right? Snake sits up there in up memory of the phone next to its absurd battery life and indestructible nature. I sort of wish this was the pure, original Snake, too.
