Galaxy S8: Design leaked again in Samsung Secure Folder app

Samsung’s Galaxy S8 will debut some time later this year but little of the phone will surprise. Amidst the constant leaks and rumors, there has been another leak that continues to give credence to the previous leaked images of the phone. The latest leak comes courtesy of Samsung, within its new Secure Folder app.

The Secure Folder app debuted on the now defunct Galaxy Note 7. It is a protected folder that users can store files and documents away from other content. Samsung announced the app would be available once the Nougat update hit the S7 and S7 Edge, but the app still isn’t available. A loophole was found through an APK, and users got their hands on the Secure Folder app possibly revealing the Galaxy S8.

In Samsung’s Secure Folder app, a tutorial silhouette guides users through the app and the phone demoed looks a lot like the previous leaks of the Galaxy S8. The silhouette shows off the expected thinned-out top and bottom bezels and gone is the home button. It perfectly lines up with everything we’ve seen from the leaks. Then again, it could all be just a coincidence.

The S8 is also expected to have the Snapdragon 835 processor, improved 12 megapixel camera and a new assistant called Bixby.
