MGK Walks in Milan Fashion Week With Dakota Johnson Sitting in Front Row
Dakota Johnson was spotted seemingly supporting Machine Gun Kelly as he hit the catwalk after their first date.
MGK, 36, participated in the Vogue World: Milano show on Tuesday, September 22, strutting down the runway dressed in an orange Byblos jumpsuit. Johnson, 36, was spotted watching the Milan Fashion Week presentation from the front row, stunning in a black, plunging midi dress with a sheer skirt.
The stylish outing comes shortly after Us confirmed that the duo went on a first date at mutual friend Taylor Swift’s apartment in New York City.
“They hit it off and wanted some privacy,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “So, Dakota contacted Taylor, and Taylor said she wasn’t home, so they could use her place. Apparently, Taylor lets her close friends use her place when she’s away.”
While neither Johnson nor MGK have publicly addressed their relationship status, the budding romance follows their respective breakups from Role Model and Megan Fox.
Johnson was briefly linked to Role Model, 29, for several months over the summer following her split from Chris Martin last year.
“I am obsessed with people not knowing where I am or what I’m doing,” she recently told Vogue when asked about her love life. “I’m far too porous and sensitive and present. I don’t — I can’t deal.”
Though Johnson acknowledged that she likes dating musicians, she played coy about her current dating status amid a new phase in her life.

“I’ve worked back-to-back for so long that now I have this deep calling to shift my perspective a bit and maybe have a bit more of a real life,” she added at the time. “I’ve been gone for, like, 20 years. The people in my life are so used to me leaving for months at a time. I just want to be authentic. I want to unfold and unfold and really lovingly embrace this life.”
As for MGK, he has been single since 2024 after his on-off relationship with Fox, 40. The “Bloody Valentine” artist and the Transformers actress broke up months before welcoming their daughter, Saga Blade, in March 2025. (Fox also shares three children with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, while MGK is the dad of daughter Casie, 17, from a previous relationship of his own.)
“They have been having so many disagreements and explosive fights. Their communication with each other has been terrible,” a second source told Us in April of MGK and Fox’s dynamic. “MGK has been trying hard to get back together with Megan, but she isn’t interested.”
