Loblaw recalls President’s Choice baby food due to botulism risk

Loblaw Co., a primogenitor association of No Frills, Loblaws and Superstore grocery chains, has removed its PC Organics formula Apple, Blueberry and Green Pea strained baby food since of a food poisoning threat. 

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency released a “high-risk” recover Saturday that warned that 128 millilitre packets of a baby food with Oct. 31, 2017 expiry date hammered on a tag should not be used since they could enclose a germ that produces botulism. The baby food, a singular product that combines all 3 flavours, is sole in Loblaw stores opposite a county.

Botulism is a critical illness that can means flesh paralysis. It’s caused by a neurotoxin and constructed by a micro-organism Clostridium botulinum
