Brittany Mahomes Wants to ‘Cry’ Over Daughter Sterling’s Haircut
Brittany Mahomes got emotional over daughter Sterling’s milestone moment.
Brittany, 30, who shares Sterling, 5, with husband Patrick Mahomes, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 28, to show off her little one’s haircut. In Sterling’s before photo, her blonde hair was straight on top with curly ends that cascaded down her back.
After getting her hair cut a few inches, her mane was styled in beachy waves. “Why does this make me wanna cry 😭,” Brittany captioned the post.
Brittany and Patrick recently celebrated another one of Sterling’s milestones in February, when she turned 5 years old.
To commemorate another trip around the sun, Brittand and Patrick, 30, got cupcakes and a cake that was decorated with pastel colors and cones. They held a party with bouncy castles, slides, a ball pit, face paint and more.
“Celebrated our girl all weekend long!!!” Brittany captioned a post. “My baby is FIVE🥹😭 The girl that made me a mama, that taught me so many lessons about being a mama, literally paving the way for her siblings and being the most perfect big sister they could ever ask for!”
Brittany, who is also mom of son Bronze, 3, and daughter Golden, 15 months, continued, “You make life so fun, Sterling Skye, everyday is a good day with you sweet girl! Watching you grow and become you’re own little self has me in tears😭😭😭.”

Bronze, for his part, got spider webs painted on his forehead and Golden played in the ball pit with her big sister and mom. Patrick also took Bronze down the slide and helped him with a claw machine.
Brittany and Patrick met and started dating when they were in high school. In September 2020, Patrick proposed to Brittany at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl ring ceremony. Months later, in February 2021, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together. Brittany gave birth to Sterling in February 2021, just one month before she and Patrick tied the knot in Maui, Hawaii.
They went on to welcome Bronze in November 2022 and Golden in January 2025.
