Taylor Swift Rocks $9,500 Dior Bag in New York City Sighting With Dad Scott
Taylor Swift looked ready to step into spring as she was spotted with her father, Scott Swift, in New York City on Monday, April 27.
The pop star looked effortlessly chic in a light blue and white striped shift dress. According to InStyle, the $325 dress is from Los Angeles brand Staud, which describes the outfit as made from lightweight cotton poplin. The dress features a “corset-style panel construction to create a flattering, fitted shape through the waist and a full skirt which hits just below the knee,” per Staud.
Taylor, 36, paired her look with dark sunglasses and her signature red lipstick and wore her hair loosely tied back. But it was the bag that the “Fate of Ophelia” singer was carrying that really completed her sunny look. Taylor was spotted clutching the Mini Lady Dior Bag with Strap in buttercup yellow. The bag retails at $9,500, per the Dior website.
Taylor and Scott were joined by the singer’s friend, Ashley Avignone, as they entered the Jane Hotel, reported TMZ. In a video published by the outlet, Taylor can be seen helping her dad out of a car.
Scott, 74, underwent quintuple bypass surgery last summer, with Taylor later revealing that he was on the mend.
“He’s doing so great,” she said during an October 2025 appearance on SiriusXM’s “Morning Mash Up.”
She continued, “By his own accord, he’s actually at 150 percent now. So he’s definitely got too much energy. He’s doing amazing. I’m so happy. To contextualize this, my dad had a quintuple bypass surgery over the summer.”
“The biggest part of our summer was, as a family, just taking care of him and getting him back to his old self,” Taylor said. “He had amazing medical care and help. The doctors and nurses that I’m going to be forever grateful for. It recontextualizes to you what matters, honestly. It really does. Thank you for mentioning that because it reminds me how lucky I am that he pulled through.”

Taylor also announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce last summer in a joint Instagram post. The pair are rumored to be eyeing a June wedding in Rhode Island.
“They’re both involved and making decisions together,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier in April, noting that the couple have been “focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure” ahead of their big day. “They’re keeping things light,” the insider added.
The wedding will be traditional, “with Taylor’s dad walking her down the aisle and all the classic touches, like the father-daughter and mother-son dances,” said a second source. “Taylor loves those emotional, meaningful moments, and Travis [is] on the same page.”
