Johnny Depp makes a controversial appearance on Rihanna’s 4th Savage X Fenty show
Johnny Depp looked cool as ever while making a cameo in Rihanna’s 4th Savage X Fenty show, which premiered on Amazon Prime on Tuesday.
The Donnie Brasco actor, 59, made his one-minute appearance midway through the show, sporting a layer of his signature necklaces and silk Savage pajamas.
His cameo sparked some online backlash, with fans questioning why the Umbrella singer, 34, included the actor who’s been ’embraced as a hero’ by ‘misogynist extremists’ following his contentious trial with ex-wife Amber Heard, 36.

Johnny’s appearance started out with him standing in the middle of a forest, resting his back against a tree, as shirtless male dancers performed around him, before he began walking towards the camera.
The Hollywood heartthrob sported a goatee and wore his brunette strands pulled back into a messy ponytail as he walked to the soundtrack of Outkast’s ‘So Fresh, So Clean.’

At the end of his walk, the Edward Scissorhands actor was seen approaching a tree and then resting against it, before the scene transformed into a graphic.
Johnny’s appearance was reportedly already been pre-filmed, and both him and Rihanna were said to be very excited about the collaboration, according to TMZ.
The show is a follow-up to the Emmy-winning Vol 3, which starred Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, Gigi Hadid and Vanessa Hudgens.

The cameo comes amid recent news that the actor’s romance with British lawyer Joelle Rich has fizzled out.
Johnny and the privately-educated mother-of-two, 37, supposedly begun seeing each other during his highly publicized court battle with ex wife Amber Heard in Fairfax, Virginia.
The pair were seen shooting each other tender glances during his court case this spring and Rich was spotted traveling to court with Depp by car.

When news of the liaison between Johnny and his now ex-lover Joelle broke last month, it was said that they enjoyed ‘off the scale chemistry’.
However there was no sign of the actor when Rich attended a family wedding in Ibiza last weekend and sources in New York believe that Depp’s relationship was fizzling out — and may actually already be over.
A friend of Depp’s said: ‘Are they still an item? We are not talking about a normal couple here. It’s not a big, stable, committed love affair and I’m not sure that it ever was.

The source added: ‘Firstly, he has just come out of a massive legal battle [with ex-wife Amber Heard], so who would want to commit after that? It has been an extremely traumatic period for him.
Rich met Depp in 2018 when her company was hired to sue The Sun for libel, after the tabloid called him a wife-beater.
Depp lost his libel action, but the tables were turned in the U.S. trial against ex-wife Amber. It ended with humiliation for Heard, who was ordered to pay him £9.2 million in damages.
