You’ve hurt someone you love. How to say sorry in a way that makes a difference.

Last week I asked my Instagram community to submit questions, and this particular question stood out to me: “I’ve hurt someone I love. She hates me. How do I say I am sorry?”

We’ve all been there. We’ve all hurt someone we love – to varying degrees. I am always impressed when someone recognizes their role and wants to take responsibility. That’s the first step. But, apologizing is not always easy.
