Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is making her grand return.

The reality TV star has become a full-time cast member on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation for the upcoming season.

And in a new trailer for season five the 34-year-old could be seen admitting in a confessional: ‘I’m kinda freaking out right now.’

Snooki had announced on her podcast in 2019 that she was planning to retire from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation because she disliked ‘leaving my kids to film.’

She shares Lorenzo, nine, Giovanna, seven, and Angelo, two, with her husband Jionni LaValle whom she has confessed she first met in a ‘one-night stand.’

Snooki did wind up on the following fourth season of the MTV program this year but only as a recurring cast member.

However she is back full bore for season five, which begins January 6, and can be heard in the trailer asking her castmates: ‘Did you miss me?’

All of them shot to fame on the original run of Jersey Shore which ran on MTV from 2009 to 2012 and was rebooted in 2018 with the Family Vacation subtitle.

One of the original cast members was Samantha ‘Sammi Sweetheart’ Giancola who declined to be part of Family Vacation from the beginning.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was on the first four seasons but after numerous scandals – including pleading no contest to domestic battery – he announced he was exiting the series to give himself time to prioritize his mental health.

Meanwhile the remaining cast members on the program are experiencing major life events as both Deena and The Situation welcomed children.
