Maxwell Caulfield and Michelle Pfeiffer were newcomers when they were cast in Grease 2 and, when the film bombed in 1982, only one of their careers flourished.

The 63-year-old actress experienced quite the winning streak after starring as Miami drug lord Tony Montana’s (Al Pacino) cocaine-addicted trophy wife Elvira Hancock in Brian De Palma’s 1983 film Scarface.
‘But you know, listen, every actor has his and her own path. She has gone on to [three] Oscar nominations and the rest of it,’ Caulfield (born Newby) continued.
‘She delivers and she defines Hollywood beauty…You can’t begrudge them their success. But as I said, simultaneously, it makes it that much tougher to see, that you’ve been benched. And it took a long wait time to come back.’
