Johnny Mathis’ Home In Hollywood Hills Damaged By Fire

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The longtime home of Johnny Mathis in a Hollywood Hills was shop-worn in a glow on Monday.

The 80-year-old thespian had usually flown behind to Los Angeles to learn that his home of 56 years held fire.

He told reporters a glow caused endless repairs and that usually a few mementos were spared.

“I’m OK, nobody got harm — that’s always important. We can always reinstate things,” Mathis said.
