Grimes revealed Tuesday that she ’caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital’ this Monday.
The incident occurred two days after the 33-year-old singer made her Saturday Night Live debut with a cameo on the episode hosted by her beau Elon Musk.
She went public with news of the panic attack on Instagram alongside pictures of herself backstage in costume with the episode’s musical guest Miley Cyrus.

‘Forgot to post these cuz I somehow caused myself to have a panic attack and went to the hospital yesterday which tbh was quite scary and I suppose it’s a good time to start therapy,’ she wrote in the caption.
‘But nonetheless – wowwwww @mileycyrus is good live and so chill! So grateful to the SNL team for being so kind and letting me sneak in as princess peach snd so proud of my beautiful E (which I know will upset the grimes fans so I apologize in advance) but he killed it,’ she gushed.
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has been involved with Elon since 2018 and they share a son called X Æ A-Xii who turned one this month.

Multiple cast members tweeted jibes at him ahead of the episode and a Page Six source said stars who did not want to work with Elon would not be forced to.
However Elon’s hosting gig was defended by her Saturday Night Live co-star Pete Davidson on late-night television.
‘What’s the big deal?’ he said on Late Night With Seth Meyers, calling Elon a really nice guy and saying: ‘I don’t know why people are freaking out.’

Once Elon eventually did host the show, where he announced has has Asperger’s, he was roasted by internet commentators who did not find him funny.
Grimes was enlisted for a cameo on the episode as Princess Peach in a Mario-themed sketch where Elon played Wario.
After the episode taping was finished Elon and Grimes partied with Miley until 6am in the city that never sleeps.
