Since making his debut in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man’s time in the MCU has been nothing but go, go, go. He was at the battle in Berlin before taking on Vulture in New York City. Shortly after, he helped the Avengers battle Thanos. His reward? He was snapped out of existence.
Unfortunately, Spidey won’t have time to rest, as he’s expected to appear in Avengers: Endgame, where—after coming back to life—he’ll have to help the Avengers defeat Thanos. That’s a pretty eventful life for someone still in high school.
After Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man will appear in his second solo movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which is big for a few reasons: It’ll signal the start of a new era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one in which characters like Iron Man and Captain America don’t factor in as much (or at all). Second, it’ll dive deeper into Marvel lore, with characters like The Elementals.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will also allow Spider-Man to further explore his personal relationships as he continues to juggle life as a teen and the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Here’s everything you need to know.
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5, 2019.
