Selma Blair has been sharing her health news on social media ever since she broke the news in October she had been diagnoses with MS.Â
And over the weekend the 46-year-old Cruel Intentions star posted a heartbreaking note.
‘There is a truth with neurogedenerative brain disease,’ began the mother-of-one. ‘It is uncomfortable. It is a stadium of uncontrollable anxiety at times. Going out, being sociable holds a heavy price.’

She then added, ‘My brain is on fire. I am freezing. We feel alone with it even though the loving support has been a god send and appreciated. People write me asking how I do it. I do my best.
‘But I choke with the pain of what I have lost and what I dare hope for. and how challenging it is to walk around. But my smiles are genuine.’

The Anger Management star then said, ‘This is ok. Life is an adventure with many shards of awakening.
‘I can’t sleep at night but daytime I have trouble staying awake . I am a grown woman holding onto a bear that belonged to a sister type of mine. ( thank you @k.d.w.r ) we do what we can.Â

She was last seen poolside in a classy two-piece black bathing suit that showed off her legs on Friday.
The 46-year-old actress recently made headlines when she revealed she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in August.
Chilly day:Â It may have been a bit cold for swimming, but Blair didn’t let that dissuade her from sharing a photo of a favorite swimsuit. The Mom and Dad star posed poolside in a classy two-piece black bathing suit that showed off her legs in December
The 5ft3in actress’ bathing suit appeared to have a textured bottom half, topped with a silky sash.
Despite the bathing suit, Selma still dressed sensibility for the weather with a long gray cardigan loosely slung on her.Â
Her pouting look was partially obscured by her dyed blonde hair and dark round sunglasses.Â

Since receiving her MS diagnosis in August, Selma has been bringing a cane with her to help get around.
In an Instagram post, the Hellboy actress wrote, ‘I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken gps.’Â
She ended on a more positive note: ‘But we are doing it. And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I will do precisely but I will do my best.’
MS is a disease affecting the brain and spinal cord. In affected individuals, their immune system attacks nerves, slowing down their communication with the brain. It can lead to numbness or tingling in the limbs and difficulty moving.

Selma is currently said to be filming the Netflix science fiction series Another Life, which is expected sometime in 2019.
She’s also working on the new thriller After. Selma plays the mother of a college age woman who finds herself in a mysterious new relationship with dark implications.
After is slated for release in April 2019.
