Irving Oil confirms ‘major incident’ during Saint John oil refinery

Irving Oil says a “major incident” has occurred during a Saint John refinery, after reports of an blast and glow on Monday morning.

Saint John military pronounced they are responding to an incident during a refinery and are seeking residents to equivocate a area altogether. Nearby streets have also been closed.

The following streets are closed: Loch Lomond during Commerce, Grandview during Champlain, Grandview during Bayside, and Loch Lomond during Macdonald.
