How it works

You get a bill of €100 million (rising to €105 million for a knockout phase). You buy a patrol of 15 players. You name 11 of them to play in any of a 7 rounds. They measure we points for assists, goals, saves, purify sheets and so on. You make substitutions. You make transfers. And there are a few small twists to make a McDonald’s FIFA World Cup™ Fantasy even some-more enthralling.

Goalkeepers: De Gea (6.5m), Alisson, Courtois, Ederson, Lloris, Patricio (6m)
Defenders: Alba, Hector, Kimmich, Marcelo, Ramos (6.5m)
Midfielders: De Bruyne (10m), Muller (9.5m)
Forwards: Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo (12m)

Selecting your squad

You contingency collect 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 forwards. You contingency name one of 8 formations for any round.

You can name adult to 3 players from one of a 32 teams during a organisation stage, 4 from any organisation for a Round of 16, 5 for a quarter-finals, 6 for a semi-finals and 8 for a final dual matches.

Transfers

Before…
The opening match: Unlimited transfers
Rounds 1-3: One send per round
Round of 16: Unlimited transfers
Quarter-finals: Three transfers
Semi-finals: Five transfers
Final dual matches: Five transfers

Any additional transfers will cost we 4 points.

Substitutions

After all matches on a singular day have finished and before a subsequent Round of matches start, we can:
– Replace any actor (unless they were sent off) with one from your dais whose organisation is nonetheless to play.
– Change your captain (if he was not sent off) with a actor from your patrol whose organisation is nonetheless to play.

Wildcard

You can make total transfers for one round. Use this in Round 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 or 7 since in Round 4 we already have total transfers.

Captain

Your captain, that we can change any round, scores double points. So if, for example, we name James Rodriguez as your captain opposite Japan and he scores 11 points, we get 22 points. Nice!

Maximum Captain

In one of a 7 rounds, we can play your Maximum Captain chip. In that round, we don’t name a captain. Instead, whichever of your 11 players scores a top points delivers double for you. So if we unequivocally imagination Luis Suarez to run demonstration opposite Russia, though you’re fearful to go opposite Ronaldo contra Iran, play your Maximum Captain!

Bench Boost

For one round, all 15 of your players – rather than only 11 – will measure we points.
