The 2019 K900 is Kia’s high end sedan. It saw the most drastic makeover, both on the exterior and interior. Kia incorporated a design concept it is calling “Gravity of Prestige.†And prestigious the K900 certainly is.
“The all-new 2019 K900 is much more than a generation redesign, as it takes on a whole new look, feel and character over its predecessor,†touted Orth Hedrick, vice president of Product Planning for Kia. “Our designers and engineers have done an extraordinary job in reimagining the K900 to fully meet the needs and desires of consumers shopping in the luxury segment.â€
Some other details Kia is proud of includes the wrap-around cabin, superb ride quality and confident comfort the K900 offer and upgraded UVO luxe telematics.
Under the hood, the K900 impresses even more. Kia retrofitted it with a 3.3-liter twin turbo V6 engine – the same one found in the Stinger. The engine delivers 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. It’s not an apples to apples comparison, but the Stinger does 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds. Expect the same performance out of the K900.
To maximize performance, the K900 also comes with a robust cooling engine to dissipate the heat emanating from the turbo engine. This will keep the engine cool while it is put through its paces. You can take advantage of the powerful engine with the second-generation eight-speed automatic transmission.
Kia revealed the 2019 K900 will go on sale some time in the fourth quarter of 2018 but it did not get into specifics about pricing.
