Samsung is offering a killer trade-in deal for the Note 8 and Galaxy S8

If you’ve been thinking of buying a Samsung smartphone, today is your lucky day. Samsung just launched a holiday trade-in deal that can net you as much as $400 off the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8.

To acquire the full $400 discount, you must trade in a device that qualifies for the full amount. The caveat is that devices that qualify for the discount have been released quite recently. There’s also $300, $200 and $150 discount tiers. Here’s how it breaks down for the qualifying devices.

• $400: Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Active, Galaxy Note 5, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, LG V20, Pixel and Pixel XL
• $300: iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus
• $200: Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy S6 Plus, LG G6, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus,
• $150: Galaxy S5,  Galaxy S5 Active, LG G5, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE

Getting the full $400 discount will bring down the price of the Note 8 to $550 and the S8 to $324.99. That’s quite an impressive discount.

Samsung has long offered some of the best discounts on its devices and it’s continuing that tradition with this holiday trade-in deal.

The deal will run for just over two weeks, beginning today and ending on December 26.
