That’ll be a hard question to address for a lot of current OnePlus 5 owners. For everyone else, the upgraded OnePlus 5T arrives at a crucial times. It brings OnePlus’ handsets up to parity with the rest of the industry while continuing to undercut the competition.
Aside from a tweaked design, the two devices are largely the same. Same internal guts, same relative shape and size, similar cameras.
It’s all about what you value most from your experience. Existing OnePlus 5 owners probably don’t need the 5T’s face unlock feature, and the upgraded secondary camera won’t make a huge difference.
