Archeologists hunt for secrets underneath Mayan pyramids

Archaeologists are acid for a secrets of because a ancient Mayans chose a sites for a famed pyramids of Chichen Itza by looking underground.

Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula is dotted with healthy wells called cenotes and subterraneous rivers.  Archaeologists now trust that some of these hydrological facilities distortion next a dedicated belligerent on that a Mayan pyramids were built.

Archaeologist Guillermo de Anda from Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History pronounced he and his group are looking for a Mesoamerican settlement display a link between Mayan design and caves, tunnels or cenotes.
