Health Canada says termination tablet can be dispensed by pharmacists

Health Canada is changing how a termination tablet Mifegymiso is prescribed and dispensed.

The sovereign dialect says a termination tablet can now be prescribed adult to 9 weeks into a pregnancy, rather than a prior extent of 7 weeks.

The drug primarily famous as RU-486 can also now be dispensed directly to patients by a pharmacist or a prescribing health professional.
