Don’t like the (sort of awesome) selection of Gamerpics that the Xbox team created for the Xbox One? Fine! Starting this month, you can upload your own.
How could this possibly go wrong…? Microsoft does note that the pics need to adhere to their code of conduct, so don’t be gross.

Now for some specifics. If you want to upload a custom image, you’ll need to use one that’s at least 1080×1080. It can be in either JPEG or PNG format. Microsoft indicates that “you’ll be able to upload an image from your console, Windows 10 PC, or mobile phone for your Gamerpic, or to customize your club’s profile pic or background.â€
Xbox’s Larry “Major Nelson†Hryb added that One Drive users will enjoy an extra layer of convenience.
Also, if you have the One Drive app installed, you can put your gamer pics there and browse to it from the console to choose it

Enjoy the added flexibility, Xbox One users. This is yet another addition to the platform that should offer even more personality to the experience.
