World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy XIV rumble over a single Twitter user
A single fan on Twitter saw an innocent question ramp up into a full-blown war of approval over the weekend. He only asked which of the two popular MMORPGs he should stick with, World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV, and he quickly found himself stuck in the middle of an epic Twitter-flexing competition.
As you can see, it starts out innocent enough.
Do I go to @FF_XIV_EN or @Warcraft ? Ahhhhh the pull is strong with both!

But Blizzard fired the first shots, starting a chain reaction that spread to a competition over the games’ content.

It was a cute exchange, but neither Twitter account proved ready to give any ground on the argument!

And in the end, nothing was solved….
The original poster returned after the fuming war, and he merely redeclared that he was still undecided after Square Enix and Blizzard laid waste to his Twitter page.
