Google has been going through a tough time with the Pixel 2 XL. The device is very impressive, but the issues with the display has significantly curved its appeal. To combat this, Verizon, the sole carrier to offer the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, is offering a killer deal on the devices worth up to $475 off.
Verizon is offering the best trade-in deal any device has seen. It’s similar to its past trade-in deals, where you trade in a qualifying device and you get a price cut on the device you are buying. In this case, it’s the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Thirteen qualifying device will net you the full 50-percent off deal, which if you apply it to the 128GB Pixel 2 XL ($949.99), it will slash the price by a whopping $475.
There are two more other tiers Verizon offers, including a 35-percent off and 25-percent off bracket for older devices. That deal is still awesome, considering some of these devices are over two years old. Here’s a full breakdown of the devices that qualify for the deal:
If you are considering the deal, there a few more things you should know. That 50-percent off (or lower options as well) will be applied in credits spread out over 24 months, meaning this is essentially a two-year contract with Verizon. This part of the deal sucks, but if you’re content with sticking with Verizon for a while, it may be worth saving yourself up to $475 if you have the right device to trade in.
