Pre-orders for the iPhone X are kicking off this Friday, October 27 at midnight. The iPhone X will also cost a pretty penny, but Sprint is the first carrier to offer a big discount for Apple’s latest flagship.
Sprint’s new deal will offer the iPhone X through its Sprint Flex installment plan at a rate of $22.22 for the first 18 months, after which you can trade in the iPhone X and get a new phone. If you opt to stick with the iPhone X for the remainder of the time, the installment rate will jump up to the full $41.62 payments for the last six months.
That brings the total of the iPhone X (64GB) down to $649.68 over two years, a far cry from the regular $999 you’d pay without the deal. That’s a sweet discount of about $350. The only caveat to the deal is that you have to trade in a eligible device, but luckily, it’s a long and extensive list.

Sprint has been the most aggressive carrier in offering deals for the iPhone. It offered a free iPhone 8 with a free eligible trade-in for customers. Now it is following that up with a big discount for the iPhone X.
We should see similar deals from the other carriers to keep pace with the demand of the iPhone X. So far, Verizon, ATT and T-Mobile haven’t announced anything, but the carriers have started pushing the iPhone X on their respective sites.
