Russia and China are waging a “digital war” with feign news and disinformation to criticise democracy in Europe, and a European Union contingency rise collection to quarrel back, a tip EU central pronounced Thursday.
European Commission Vice-President Vera Jourova, who leads efforts to safety approved beliefs opposite a bloc, pronounced a dual countries have “weaponized information” and won’t behind down until Europe stands adult to them.

Jourova cited as examples a feign news reports from Russia surrounding a sharpened down of a Malaysian airlines moody over eastern Ukraine in 2014 and in a poisoning of a former Russian view and his daughter in Salisbury, England in 2018.
