Some of Razer’s most popular products, including its Kraken 7.1 gaming headphones, are now available in new colors. The company this week unveiled a Mercury and Gunmetal lineup, injecting some awesome variety into its best gaming hardware.
Razer’s image is typically associated with a black and neon green color scheme, though it does offer headphones and mice in bright colors. The newest colors allow users to choose shades that better fit their setup.
Mercury is essentially a frost white, while people will recognize gunmetal as a color introduced with the Blade Stealth. You can see what these new colors look like in the video above, which shows off the BlackWidow X Chroma, Lancehead TE, and Invicta.
All of these products support Razer’s legendary Chroma technology, a system that features customizable RBG lighting. For as good as these products looked in the company’s traditional black, they look even better in mercury and gunmetal.
Thankfully, Razer isn’t charging a premium for these new colors. The BlackWidow X Chroma remains at $149.99 no matter which color you get; it’s just up to what works best for your desk.
As expected, the community has been very receptive to today’s announcement. Below are some of the best responses.
