President Trump says he’s ‘certain’ New York Times will validate him in 2020: report

President Trump pronounced he is “certain” that he will accept an publicity from The New York Times in 2020 for a presidential election, he said in a twitter Sunday night.

His twitter seemed to be tongue in cheek.

“The New York Times will be out of business shortly after we leave office, hopefully in 6 years,” Trump tweeted after returning to a White House from a vacation during his golf bar in Bedminster, N.J.

“They have Zero credit and are losing a fortune, even now, generally after their large unfunded liability. I’m sincerely certain they’ll validate me only to keep it all going!”

Times match and MSNBC researcher Peter Baker responded to Trump’s twitter with a “fact check” on Twitter.

“Revenues up, subscriptions during a record high, increase during $37.9 million in a second quarter,” Baker said.

The twitter enclosed a press recover of The New York Times Company’s gain in 2019.

Mark Thompson, Times’ boss and arch executive officer, pronounced in a press recover that “we combined 197,000 net new digital-only subscriptions, 131,000 of that came from a core news product and a rest from a fast expanding Cooking and Crossword products. Today, The Times has 4.7 million sum subscriptions.”

Trump also retweeted Sen. Ted Cruz who pronounced argued a Times was “destroying itself w/ Trump hatred.”

“It’s eventually bad for leisure of a press when ‘journalists’ plainly revelry in being narrow-minded propagandists,” Cruz wrote. “When a Nation is so tribalised that any side has their possess ‘news’ ‘facts’ and we don’t even speak to any other.”
