Plex Cloud exits beta, now available to all Plex Pass subscribers

Users can use Plex Cloud with the industry’s most popular cloud platforms, including Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive (personal). Unfortunately, Plex Cloud no longer supports Amazon Drive, which was one of the platforms that first supported the feature.

No server needed

Before, Plex users needed to have the necessary equipment to set up their own server. But with Plex Cloud, any Plex Pass subscriber can stream their content from the cloud, no pre-existing equipment necessary. The best part is you can stream your content from any device that supports Plex, from your Android phone to the Apple TV.

A Plex Pass subscription will run you $4.99 per month or $149 for a lifetime subscription.
