Playboy’s Kendra Wilkinson Shuts Down Comments That She’s ‘Aging Poorly’
Kendra Wilkinson is embracing aging.
Wilkinson, 40, took to Instagram on Sunday, March 8, to open up about “embracing” herself, despite getting hate comments about how she’s “aging poorly.”
“I used to use a light filter on myself but now I’m just embracing myself as it is,” she captioned a selfie. “I’ve seen many people comment saying I’ve aged ‘poorly’ and that is ok. I’m ok with aging ‘poorly.’”
The Girls Next Door star went on to say that she’s the happiest she’s ever been at age 40. “For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately, even with a little weight gain and wrinkles,” she wrote. “I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy.”
Wilkinson praised herself for being a “balanced, single, positive, fun woman who loves life,” and added that she hopes she feels that way “forever.”

“I was verrrry young when I started tv and lived a crazy chaotic 20 years of impressing others but now it’s about ME,” she continued. “Giving back to ME. Even with less money and way less fame. 😂.”
Wilkinson concluded her post, which she shared on International Women’s Day, by writing, “I’m now a realtor and a mom of a 16 and a 11 yr old. Watching them grow has been my untinate [sic] happiness over everything else. I’m so beyond grateful for today!”
The Playboy model, who was only 18 when she started on Hugh Hefner’s reality show, also shared via her Instagram Story that she isn’t looking for love after splitting from ex-husband Hank Baskett. “I embrace life as it is,” she explained. “Grateful for being an aging woman and [I] have awesome few friends.” Wilkinson and Hank Baskett, 43, tied the knot in 2009 and split in 2009. They share kids Hank Jr. and Alijah.
