Somehow, the console wars are still a thing deep into 2017, and scrounging up exclusives and boasting about them is the best way to piss off the other side. NieR is different in that Xbox owners have a legit reason to be upset that they are not getting the game. The original NieR was released on Xbox 360 in North America, and it found a cult following on the console all the same. Xbox gamers won’t get to play unless they pony up for the other console now, which is admittedly really lame for the fanbase.
Saito’s claim also doesn’t account for the PC build that Platinum Games is working on. Where’s the focus there?
