Pikachu finally gets his own New Nintendo 3DS XL model

As one of Nintendo’s most internationally recognizable and beloved characters, I like to think it’s about time that this happened. Before this, there was no option for the New Nintendo 3DS XL for people who want a yellow one, but all it takes is that unmistakable face to make the wait worth it.

Pikachu will be highlighting his own New Nintendo 3DS XL yellow model, as confirmed by Nintendo. It will be released nationwide on Feb. 24, three months after it was released in Japan back in late November.

This new model will retail for $199.99. It does not come with any pre-installed games on it.
