Persona 4: Dancing All Night was a fun little title that took the main game’s legendary soundtrack and turned it into a slick little rhythm game. Aside from the overly long dialogue scenes, I’d call it a solid attempt to branch the series into other genres.
Atlus agrees, and it is now giving the treatment to both Persona 3 and Persona 5. The company announced two new games Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night during its Persona Super Live P-Sound Bomb!!!!! 2017 concert in Japan this week.
In addition to the announcements, Atlus also took the chance to reveal trailers for both games.
I need to get caught up on both games’ soundtracks. I know Persona 4’s like the back of my hand, but Persona 3’s has fled my memory, and I haven’t played Persona 5 yet.
Both Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will be released in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Spring 2018. Atlus has yet to confirm a North American release, but I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
